Originally positioned as an entry-level Mercedes-Benz debuting in 2013, the CLA now reaches past its original target demographic to appeal to drivers searching for the most advanced technology wrapped in a sleek exterior.

The 2020 Mercedes-Benz CLA is part of the second generation of its kind with new technology that responds to, "Hey Mercedes." It also interprets arm and hand gestures to bring the driver anything from directions to their destination to the latest weather report.

With a dramatic and sweeping profile, the CLA continues to look like it belongs in a luxury sedan lineup. Bigger optional wheels round out the look of the AMG® CLA 45's assertive front end.

Apple CarPlay^® and Android^™ Auto are available as add-ons, as is a Wi-Fi hotspot, head-up display, SiriusXM Radio with a six-month trial, augmented navigation video, Burmester surround sound system, and 10.25-inch touchscreen multimedia display.

You can also choose to add Mercedes-Benz COMAND® navigation system with 3D maps, points of interest, and building profiles on an 8-inch high-resolution screen. Other driver assistance add-ons include lane-keeping assist and active distance assist DISTRONIC.

Power and Performance

The 2020 Mercedes-AMG® CLA 45, outfitted with a 375-horsepower engine, goes from zero to 60 mph in just 4.1 seconds. For the driving enthusiast, its is a dream come true. Optional adjustable suspension makes for an especially smooth ride, even in the worst road conditions.

The new CLA 250 gets an EPA-estimated 25 mpg in the city and 35 mpg on the highway, which seems like a fair trade for the abundance of power under the hood of this sleek sedan.

The 2020 Mercedes-Benz CLA is available in two versions; CLA 250 Coupe with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive and the top-level AMG® CLA 45 Coupe. With the 4MATIC^® system, the engine sends a maximum of 50% of its power to the back wheels when necessary.

Standard safety features include automatic emergency braking, a rearview camera, and driver attention monitor. You can add blind-spot monitors, parking sensors, LED headlights, and adaptive cruise control.

The CLA 250's options include harman/kardon® audio system*, 18-inch wheels, and a panoramic sunroof. An 8-inch infotainment screen, push-button start, imitation leather upholstery, dual-zone climate control, and *Bluetooth^® connectivity are standard.

The 2020 Mercedes-AMG® CLA 45 offers optional Recaro seats. You'll get an AMG® Speedshift dual-clutch transmission with sport suspension as standard equipment. This model also has 19-inch wheels, blind-spot assist, heated front seats, an aerodynamics package, and LED headlights and taillights.
