Entry-Level Luxury in the A-Class Mercedes

The 2021 Mercedes-Benz A-Class offers an entry-level option for drivers who want luxury sedans at affordable prices. The compact A-Class has a posh design with sporty handling with sophisticated performance. Don’t let the affordable price fool you: the Mercedes-Benz A-Class has everything that Mercedes drivers want, just in a compact package.

At Capital Eurocars, we proudly feature the full lineup of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, from the compact and sport A-Class to the flagship GLE 580 and E-Class along with the collection of AMG-tuned performance vehicles. Our sales experts would love to show you all the A-Class has to offer.

Power and Performance with German Engineering

Mercedes-Benz isn’t just known for luxurious design and attractive exteriors, the German automaker puts performance-based power under the hood. The A-Class might be the smallest of the Mercedes-Benz sedan lineup, but it isn’t short on power. It has a 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder with turbocharging that delivers 188 horsepower and a response 221 lb-ft of torque. In this little four-door package, the A-Class cruises along nicely.

The compact sedan comes with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission for drivers who appreciate the ease of an automatic with the fun of occasional shifting. The A 220 comes with front-wheel drive while the 4MATIC version comes standard with all-wheel drive. The only difference in their performance is in fuel economy. The all-wheel drive model gets an EPA-estimated 25/34, while the front-wheel drive model gets 25/36 MPG.

Sporty, Attractive, and Luxurious

While the A-Class looks significantly different from the top-selling E-Class, it is unmistakably a Mercedes-Benz. It has a minimalistic grille with the striking Mercedes-Benz logo front and center. It also has elegant and sporty curves, all the way to the dual exhaust pipes in the rear. Both trims come with 17-inch wheels with optional 18-inch wheels, heated side mirrors, and a panoramic sunroof. Both models come with LED headlights, taillights, and accessory lighting.

On the inside, the Mercedes luxury continues. The power front seats have three position memory. The rear seat has a 40/20/40 split for added cargo space, and the vehicle has dual-zone climate control. For ambiance, the vehicle comes with 64-color LED lights and illuminated interior vents. MB-Tex upholstery gives the vehicle sporty luxury while keeping the price affordable. The center armrest in the rear has two cup holders, and the vehicle comes with a SmartKey with a keyless start.

Loaded with Safety Features

The compact sedan is big on safety features. Along with the Mercedes-Benz Emergency Call Service, the A-Class comes standard with notable safety and driver-assist features like Attention Assist, Blind-Spot Monitoring, a rearview camera, Crosswind Assist, Brake Assist, Electronic Stability Program, and rain-sensing wipers. It also has standard Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection. Adaptive Cruise Control is optional.

Mercedes offers a plethora of safety features as available options on the A-Class. They include favorites like Speed Limit Assist, Active Parking Assist, Active Lane Keep and Lane Change Assist, and a Surround View System and Dashcam.

The 2021 model year Mercedes-Benz A-Class also comes with popular multimedia technology features. All 2021 Mercedes models come with the Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) that includes the “Hey Mercedes'' keyword activation voice control system. The A-Class has two seven-inch displays, one with a digital instrument cluster and the other with a touchscreen for infotainment.

All A-Class sedans have five USB-C ports so all five adult passengers can charge their phones without worry. The MBUX system offers voice control, steering wheel, and touchpad controls. Those who love to stream music appreciate that the A-Class models all come with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as well as Bluetooth and HD radio.
