If there is one thing that makes the 2015 Mercedes-Benz E350 stand out from the Audi A6, it has to be in the area of overall performance. The E350 comes equipped standard with the patented Mercedes-Benz AGILITY CONTROL® chassis. This system continuously adjusts its settings as you travel down the road. It alters the firmness of each shock absorber in reaction to the driver's style, which in turn offers sharper handling in turns and a smoother ride on the roughest roads.

The 2015 Audi A6 offers a composed ride that most drivers find relatively comfortable, but at the same time it tends to be overly firm. While the A6 handles well in cornering, when exposed to rougher road surfaces, many drivers find the ride to be somewhat harsh and less than enjoyable, an important consideration when you consider the condition of many local roads.

Power to Spare

For those who are more interested in overall fuel economy, you might be surprised to find that the Audi A6 does not fare as well as you might expect. The Audi A6 with its lower powered inline four cylinder engine manages a modest 20 city/29 highway estimated EPA fuel economy rating. On the other hand the more powerful V6 powered Mercedes-Benz E350 comes in at an impressive 20 city/28 highway. Only one mile per gallon less out on the highway and the same rating in the city, a very impressive feat for an engine with two more cylinders and significantly more power.

Space for Everyone

While both the 2015 E350 and A6 have room for the same number of people on the inside, the Mercedes-Benz offers more overall interior room. Both have seating for five people, but with more headroom the E350 makes a better choice for taller drivers and passengers. In one area the E350 comes out far ahead, this is in the area of cargo space. The A6 offers buyers a total of 14.6 cubic feet of cargo space in comparison to the E350 which offers a total of 15.9 cubic feet. This means more room for suitcases, golf clubs, or shopping.
